Jesus Calling

I speak to you from the depths of your being. Hear Me saying soothing words of Peace, assuring you of My love. Do not listen to voices of accusation, for they are not from Me. I speak to you in love-tones, lifting you up. My Spirint convicts cleanly, without crushing words of shame. Let the Spirit take charge of your mind, combing out tangles of deception. Be transformed by the truth that I live within you.
The Light of My Presence is shining upon you, in benedictions of Peace. Let My Light shine in you; don't dim it with worries or fears. Holiness is letting Me live through you. Since I dwell in you, you are fully equipped to be holy. Pause before responding to people or situations, giving My Spirit space to act through you. Hasty words and actions leave no room for Me; this is atheistic living. I want to inhabit all your moments- gracing your thoughts, words and behavior.

Welcome to my blog. I am an avid book lover, writer and lover of Jesus Christ. My first love is always God and Jesus, then my family and then my career. I love to lead others to the freedom that God freely gives when we lay all of our trials, hurts and fears at the feet of Jesus. Healing is possible.

I have been married to Mike for almost 29 years. We have two sons and three grandchildren, who are blessings to our lives. I have lived in Texas all of my life. I have struggled with fear all of my life, from my earliest memories. I don't know what caused the fear to take root but it is something I still struggle with at times even at the age of 46 years old. I believe all things are possible with God and I know that Romans 8:28 is true in my life. Sometimes bad things happen but I believe that even through bad things in our life, we can still bring glory to God through helping others walk through their trials.

I am thankful for my grandmother, Neenie always making sure that I knew of Jesus Christ and that He loved me. She made sure I was in church and is the person that led me to the Lord. She was the grandmother that everyone wished that they had in their lives, but I was one of the lucky few that could say I did.
